Bring your team to learn from top NextGen voices and other churches about leading an aligned family ministry

Family Ministry Roundtable
  • Hear from top nextgen voices in church leadership
  • Learn from other church leaders in the same role
  • Share what’s working in your church with other teams

Leave with practical ideas and insights for your ministry.

Avoid Silos & Isolation

When children’s, youth, and family ministries operate in silos, alignment suffers, redundancy is common, and ministry impact is limited.

Without alignment, you risk:

  • Volunteers feeling disconnected across age groups
  • Ministries competing instead of collaborating
  • Families receiving inconsistent spiritual guidance

Your team shouldn’t have to lead alone.

At the Family Ministry Roundtable, you’ll gain insights, strategies, and connections to strengthen your team’s unity and effectiveness.

Lead & Learn Together

The Family Ministry Roundtable equips your entire team to:

  • Align kids, youth, and family ministries under one strategy
  • Learn best practices from experienced leaders
  • Connect with other churches facing the same challenges

Table Discussions & Expert Teaching

  • Speaker-led insights from seasoned family ministry leaders
  • Roundtable discussions to process & apply ideas together
  • Practical takeaways to implement immediately

Why The Family Ministry Roundtable?

We created The Family Ministry Roundtable because the best ideas and practices we use in our churches have all come from other church leaders who are doing similar work in their ministries.

We have benefited from roundtable conversations with other church leaders, and we wanted to create an environment like that for family ministry teams to learn together.

What's the format like?

The goal is for The Family Ministry Roundtable to be 50/50 and 50/50:

Talks/Conversations

  • 50% talks from top leaders and practitioners
  • 50% table conversations to learn from other churches

All Together / Ministry Teams

  • 50% all together
  • 50% separated into ministry groups (preschool/elementary/students)

What makes this event different from other ministry conferences?

This is a team-based, discussion-driven event where leaders learn from each other while also hearing from top NextGen voices. It’s focused on practical takeaways and creating an action plan.

Who from our church should attend?

That is up to you. We recommend you bring whoever oversees all of NextGen/Family Ministry and the leaders of each age group and/or area within the ministry.

That might be:

  • A NextGen, Kids, and Student Pastor from one church
  • A Family Pastor, Preschool Director, Elementary Director, Middle School Director, and High School Director from another church
  • A Children’s Ministry and Student Ministry staff from another church (and there is no NextGen/Family Pastor)

If your ministry wants to be more unified between kids and students to reach and disciple kids, teens, and parents, the Family Ministry Roundtable is for you.

What is included in my registration?
  • Access to main sessions, ministry breakouts, and roundtable discussions
  • Conference materials and worksheets
  • Lunch during both days of the event
Can I register multiple people at once?

Yes! You can register your entire team in one transaction on the registration page.

What is your cancellation or refund policy?

If you need to cancel, please contact us. We offer full refunds up to Sep 1, or you can transfer your ticket to another staff member.

Where is the event being held?

The Family Ministry Roundtable will take place at Christ Community Church in South Elgin, just outside of Chicago.

Will I get to interact with the speakers?

Yes! Unlike traditional conferences, this event is interactive. Speakers participate in roundtable discussions, and you’ll have opportunities to ask questions.

How do Roundtable Discussions work?

These are guided conversations where you’ll exchange ideas with other leaders and hear what’s working in other churches.

Can I request specific discussion topics?

Yes! After registering, you’ll be invited to share what challenges your team is facing so we can shape the discussion topics accordingly.
